The Availability of New Degree Programs in Virtual Education
Learners can now be earning several educational degrees without its setting on the foot in campus through this Extension and Distance Educational Department of Appalachian in State University. With that, this new educational program will now setting in order to start on their spring of 2010 that entirely includes Bachelor of Science for both Health Promotions and Business Management that is in the midst of these six new undergraduates programs and towards 18 new graduates of educational programs. As of now, Appalchian already been offering as an off campus school degree program ever since in 1950’s and nowadays the Extension and Distance Education Department are now offering courses for about 50 locations in this Western North Carolina. Since, online degrees also been available to its students. With that, Mary F. Englebert; Extension and Distance Education Department director stated that this Bachelor of Science in this Health Promotion and Business Administration serve as its first undergraduate’s online degree completions career programs and they are quite excited towards the expansion to its ability of serving this citizen of Northern Carolina.
In this summer season of 2010, the 11 new undergraduates and its new 32 new graduates programs will now be offered and as well total of these 12 degree educational programs will be provided through a full online setting. So, the rest will now be held on towards various locations in these states that include Ashe, Burke, Buncombe, Caldwell, Davie, Catawba, Forsyth, McDowell, Iredell, Wikes, Watauga, and the Yadkin countries. As a result, Joseph A. Cazier stated that this is quite a nice opportunity for several students upon taking its advantage. Since, through this virtual education no one is ever been deprive towards the opportunity of education. Cazier serve as the Walker College of Business assistant dean towards Graduate Programs and Researching. With that, the Institute towards Higher Education Policy had already estimated distance degree learning program courses that currently got an enrollment that is about 1.6 million learners and its virtual education continually grow even more and popular in yearly basis.
